Inspired by the Ancient Greek tragedy Trojan Women, Ellipsis depicts a story of destruction to minds saturated with images of violence and conflict. It is an attempt to paint a picture of the unstoppable collapse of not only the defeated but also the whole system by juxtaposing illusions locating the body and the Earth in the heart of the universe and limits of perception, randomness and collapse of rationality. It creates an anarchy of meaning in a world of Gods and men, of journeys and catastrophes, of war and loss by creating mental and physical situations where bodies and space are manipulated by “off-stage” elements within a vague storyline.
